John and Sofie

When we first met John and Sofie (visiting from England) we instantly had a great connection with them.  They are lovely people and had a great vision for their wedding.  We couldn't wait to capture their day.

With the wedding date in the books for over a year we had no idea what the weather would be like but we knew what we were hopeful for!  Their wedding was taking place outdoors at the gorgeous Ancaster Old Mill and photos would be at the falls nearby.  We wanted sunshine, or at the very least cloudy skies, but as the day drew nearer, we were uncertain. The weather reports were clear on what to expect - rain and thunderstorms!

With umbrellas in tow, we headed out cautiously optimistic that the early humidity and sun would hold on -  and it did! We were able to enjoy all of the beautiful locations the Old Mill had to offer and more importantly capture that very special moment we love - when John and Sofie saw each other for the first time.

What a special day you both had.  We enjoyed every minute of it and wish you a lifetime of happiness, love and sunshine. Thank you for letting us be a part of your magical day!

Hoang & Vicky

We love this couple.  They're just the real deal - honest, fun and full of faith!  We'd known Vicky for several years but had the opportunity to get to know Hoang really well during their engagement. For that reason we were really excited to capture their wedding.

Their day really symbolized their love and faith and so beautifully captured THEM! From watching Vicky whipping something up in the kitchen after getting her hair and makeup done (that shows how relaxed she was!) to the fun photo booth for guests and AMAZING spring rolls made by Hoang's family for the late night buffet and everything in between, these two made sure their day represented them and it was wonderful!

We pray your marriage would be blessed for years to come and that you can look back on your day through these pictures and treasure each precious detail and moment.

Eric & Tanya

Just days before Eric and Tanya's wedding we received a call from their photographers asking for our help. As a husband and wife team they had committed to shooting their friend's wedding but unforeseen circumstances were preventing it. Not wanting to leave them in a lurch, we cancelled Mark's birthday plans and instead he headed off to start taking pictures of the bride and her ladies.

From the moment we decided to shoot this wedding we started praying. Circumstances were not in anyone's favour and the weather was slated to be terrible. Fall weddings often boast unpredictable weather but when we awoke on September 8th it was downright miserable. Our warm balmy summer had turned frigid and the ominous black clouds dumping rain in sheets didn't bode well for our garden photo shoot.

As we have seen with absolutely every wedding we have shot, the Lord was merciful and as you'll see in the pictures below, it turned out to be a STUNNING day!

Eric and Tanya, we hope your marriage is as wonderful as your wedding day was. It was a pleasure to meet you both and capture the precious moments of your new life together.

Eric & Jessie

One year ago when we shot their engagement pictures we had a blast with Eric and Jessie. They are such a fun loving and spirited couple that it made our job so easy!

Because of various elements of their wedding, we had many opportunities to get together leading up to their big day.  We got to know them so well that our excitement was building with them leading up to the big day.

After many texts and prayers the week preceding the wedding, we were blessed with a beautiful July day. Not only was it a blessing to watch these two friends commit their lives to each other, it was an honour to capture each moment on camera.

We love you guys and wish you a lifetime of joy as you experience all the blessings of marriage.

Stan and Verena's wedding day was absolutely stunning - phenomenal weather, a beautiful location and a gorgeous bride and snazzy groom! The location they chose for their photoshoot was a dense forest on their ceremony property and the setting sun made for just that extra element of magic!
